Roxana has always wanted to learn more about God’s Word and how to apply it to her life.  She often heard of workshops and training being offered in Spanish around the Metroplex, but not close enough to attend.

One month ago, Denton Baptist Association began a partnership with the Hispanic Baptist Seminary of Dallas Baptist Association to offer a two-year program on basic Christian ministries. To Roxana’s amazement, her own church, El Camino Baptist Church of Lewisville, volunteered to host the training.

As the first course unfolded, Roxana was present every Friday evening for the 2-hour training.  In fact, 13 of the 15 students in her class did not miss a single session of the six-week study on basic doctrine!

Roxana is now looking forward to the next course to start on Friday, September 29th.

Do you hear Spanish at church?
If your church hosts, lends or rents part of its campus space to a Hispanic congregation – whether Baptist or not – we invite you to encourage them to consider participating in the next
6-week course offered in Lewisville as part of the Basic Course in Christian Ministries.

People interested in expanding their grasp of a Biblical lifestyle and ministry can enter the learning cycle at the beginning of any of the eight 6-week courses being offered.

Starting November 10, participants will take a six-week look at Exploring the New Testament. The cost of this survey is $50. All training will be in Spanish.
