Full-time Children's Minister needed. Job Description: •Implement a comprehensive children’s ministry for the church. •Coordinate the preschool and children’s educational program in Bible study, Bible Drill, Discipleship training, Mission Education, Vacation Bible School, and weekly activities. •Counsel children who make decisions concerning salvation. •Enlist, train, and develop leadership for the various organizations in the preschool and children’s areas. •Lead workers in this area in a systematic program of visitation. •Plan and conduct special projects for children such as retreats, camps, social activities and summer programs. •Conduct and/or coordinate parenting classes. •Encourage and support families. •Supervise Kinderbridge Director and Nursery Director. •Excellent leadership, administrative, organizational, flexibility and time management skills •Basic ability to use computer software such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. •Degree from an accredited college or university; seminary experience preferred. •Self-motivated, self-disciplined, strong-work ethic. •Applicant should have a stable, verifiable work history and must have a current driver's license with an acceptable MVR. First Baptist Church of Justin is searching for a Summer Children’s Ministry Intern. This person is someone who will work 20-25 hours a week, with the exception of Vacation Bible School and summer camps. Highland Baptist Church is searching for a part-time minister of music to lead our growing music ministry. Highland is a warm, loving fellowship located in Denton, Texas, near two major universities, and less than a mile from the I-35 split. Our music is largely traditional (mostly hymns, piano and organ-led) but we are open to change and interested in moving to a more “blended” model. The music minister will work with the pastor to plan and lead our weekly AM and PM worship services. He or she will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating with our organist, pianist, and the many other talented musicians we have at Highland. This person will also conduct our choir of about 20-25 people and lead them in seasonal specials, such as Easter or Christmas. Requirements: Candidates must have a clear testimony of saving faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, work approx. 15-20 hours each week, be involved in visitation and outreach, co-operate with church staff, participate in weekly staff meetings, provide monthly reports at business meetings, become a member of the church, perform other duties as assigned, and pass drug testing and criminal background checks.
