Elves Shelves
A heart-felt Thank You to every person who gave their time and effort to share Christ’s love with the 520 families who signed up at this year’s Elves Shelves outreach at First Baptist Denton. It was wonderful to see children, teenagers, and adults of all ages work as a spiritual family in helping individuals who have a need this Christmas season.

Please pray for the group and individual follow-ups that are now taking place with many who expressed a desire to know more about faith in Christ. Specifically, pray that relationships will grow between participants and counselors that will aid the Holy Spirit’s work, and pray that participants will find small groups and church families that will welcome them into their hearts.

Thanksgiving Fellowship
Our 2nd annual DBA Hispanic Pastors and Families Thanksgiving Supper is scheduled for Monday, November 20th, at Life Fellowship Baptist Church in Denton. We are expecting around 45 participants this year, representing 10 different Hispanic congregations and 1 associational Hispanic training center.

Hispanic Bible Institute
Fifteen Hispanic church members from 3 DBA churches are finishing up the 1st semester of studies in the Basic Course in Christian Ministries, offered in Lewisville through the Hispanic Baptist Seminary of Dallas Baptist Association. The Christmas break will interrupt the current class on Survey of the Old Testament, which will pick back up in January.

Spanish-speakers interested in participating in the next six-week class on Survey of the New Testament may contact David Crane: 940-703-8066 or david@dentonbaptist.org) for details on registration.
