First Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas is actively seeking a part-time student minister who will serve as the spiritual leader for all youth ministries in the church as well as reach unchurched youth in our community. We are looking for an energetic and outgoing individual who relates well with students. Incumbent is expected to have a desire to share the love of God through relational ministries with youth and their families, leading students to accepting Christ as their Savior, growing in the Lord and becoming involved in the body of Christ. Work schedule would require Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, Wednesday afternoons/evenings, with other dates for special events as needed. FBC Bonham is located approximately 70 miles north of Dallas, Texas. FBC Bonham desires to be a church that exalts Jesus Christ. Qualifications The Minister of Music should have a demonstrated track record of leadership in music. Demonstrate a mature Christian faith and commitment to the Protestant faith. Qualities we desire in an ideal candidate are: 1. Leadership ability—able to work well with Music Director, musicians, and artists. 2. Musically trained—understands music from a variety of genres and generations, with an emphasis on contemporary music (“praise and worship,” contemporary arrangements of traditional hymns.) Responsibilities 1. Coordinate with Music Directors worship services at the church. 2. Sunday 11:00 a.m. morning services and two annual afternoon services 3. Personally, direct Adult, and Children Choirs. 4. Assist with Annual Special and seasonal programs. 5. Other responsibilities as agreed upon under the direction of the Senior Pastor. The Servant House is seeking a loving committed Part time Life Group Coach responsible for assisting the Senior Pastor in developing and organizing a comprehensive program that ministers to the social, educational, spiritual and moral development of the membership. As TSH Life Group Coach you would be responsible for: 1. Effective team building ministry. 2. Implement special training projects for LG leaders, not limited to seminars, specific training and retreats as the ministry grows to stay ahead of the needs. 3. Select the most spiritually mature people and develop them into life group leaders so life groups are a source of support and encouragement, physically and spiritually, for members who undergo sickness, affliction, bereavement and life events in order that may experience true love and caring from our church. The focus of the ministry is to the members of The Servant House and their immediate families (i.e., spouse, children, parent, brothers and sisters) (Romans 12:15).
