Financial Administrator – F/T Position. The Financial Administrator is responsible for overseeing the efficiency, accuracy, and productivity of the day-to-day activities of the Finance Office. This position provides financial management and budgeting for the church as a whole. Must possess a significant working knowledge of accounting procedures to include AP/AR, GL, and payroll. Ministry Assistant (MA) to the Senior Pastor encompasses a broad range of responsibilities in the administration and executive functions in processes, planning, editing, generating letters and various documents, course materials, booklets, flyers and data management for the church membership system. TSH MA enables the senior pastor to focus on the greatest needs of the congregation, leadership of teams and sermon prep. This is a PT position - 20 hrs. a week. Requirements: The MA must: • Have a caring attitude and excellent people skills to always communicate truth with love, grace and mercy. • Be accessible, responsive and flexible to handle the changing needs of the church • Have clerical, communications, computer (proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point) and organization skills • Have effective verbal, writing, editorial and publishing skills • Demonstrate a high level of trust and confidentiality • Be a born-again Christian with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Plan, organize, budget, implement, and manage programs pertaining to the ministry to college students. Lead, equip, and disciple students both on and off campus. Coordinate opportunities to connect with students in cooperation with BSM leaders. This full-time position will plan and implement retreats, mission trips, and outreach events. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to reach and engage college students in the local church. Required Education: Undergraduate degree Desired: Prefer candidate is working on or has completed seminary education. Prior experience in a church staff setting.
