Lyon, France Missionary Update
DATE POSTED: 04/29/2019  |     |   Category: Missions

Stephen & Sabrina Marshall have been missionaries in Lyon, France for 11 years. The country of France has 67 million people, less than 1% are protestant evangelicals. The protestant evangelical churches in France have a vision to start one church for every 10,000 people. In order for that vision to become a reality, the mother church in Lyon needs to start 100 churches. In 2013 they launched their first church in Pont-de-Churey. In 2015 a church in Trevoux came to life. In 2018 their third church began in Croix-Rousse.

The next city they are planning to reach is Bron, which has a population of 40,000 people. There is only one ethnic church in this city. It is a city with multiple cultures and languages. To reach such a diverse population, they have decided to start small neighborhood churches. An association has been created called One Heart for the City of Bron. The expectation is for the members to share their heart  & lives in their neighborhood by hosting events, helping people move, hosting soccer tournaments, and serving at other community events.

Pray for the city of Bron and the neighborhood churches being started. To find out more about the work in Lyon, France, and the surrounding cities, contact the Marshalls at
