The Denton Baptist Association is partnering with other area associations and churches for another Sending Lab. In Denton County, more and more churches are developing church planters from within our churches. For example, most of this year’s cohort are being sent from local churches.
However, how can your church also become a Sending Church? Our denomination has developed an approach where every church can send out planters. Your church can develop a process of leadership development, culminating in a new church.
The Send Network has developed the Sending Lab workshop to help you understand how you can develop a sending process. This event is designed for your church to develop your own unique pipeline. Our prayer is for you to develop leaders according to your unique design.
Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church is hosting the Sending Lab on Thursday, August 13, from 9 am to 4 pm. We are inviting DBA churches, but also churches from other metroplex counties.
This one-day workshop will walk you through the biblical mandate for planting a church, share practical strategies for successful church planting, and help churches evaluate how God might be calling them to engage. Sending Labs have already transformed churches across the country, and we believe God can use them in Denton County.
