Strengthening
Our goal in this endeavor is to help churches and their staff to become more effective in reaching people for Christ and maturing disciples. Here are some of the ways we strengthen our member churches.
Training:
Leadership Training: This annual leadership training conference is for ministerial leaders who are seeking to become capable, informed, and proficient within their given field of ministry.
Hispanic Bible Institute:
Serve Together: Partner with us in this global mission project by hosting a serve Together event at your church. At this event, individual church bodies come together and pack food to provide for third world countries.
Ministerial Health:
Refocus Retreat: This half-day retreat allows for ministerial staff to take intentional time for personal and spiritual evaluation and refocus their attention on Christ.
Pastors & Wives Retreat: This retreat is designed to give pastors and their wives time away, together.
Revitalization
Our association has a revitalization team that specializes in helping churches address issues related to their growth.
Consultations
Strategy Planning: Our staff provides individual help for partnering churches in strategy planning.
Evangelism: Upon request, our staff will provide tools such as demographic studies to better reach those living in a specific target area.
Coaching: We are determined, as an association, to provide wise biblical help in understanding the next steps for ministerial staff and lay leaders.
Church Unique: This is a reimagining process that involves a planning team from the local church and one of our trained consultants. The goal is to help the church determine who they are, what their local environment looks like, and develop a strategy to reach their area.
Pastors Lunch
Pastors Lunch gives pastors the opportunity to meet with other pastors and supporting members of the Denton Baptist Association. These lunches happen monthly.
