First Friends Preschool Overview:

First Friends Preschool (FF) functions as a ministry of First Baptist Church (FBC) of Prosper, TX. Operating Monday to Thursday from August to May of each year.

Job Summary:

The FF Director plays a pivotal role in providing leadership and direction to ensure the smooth operation and success of the preschool. The ideal candidate will preferably possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, along with previous experience in a leadership
role in a preschool or childcare setting.

Qualification and Skills:

FF Director and their family must become actively participating members
of FBC Prosper.

Possess a passion to shepherd teachers and children.

Proficient self-starter and team player with the ability to
incorporate the overall vision of the Elders while also creatively initiating and
accomplishing personal vision specific for children’s ministry.

Must effectively demonstrate the ability to use appropriate
judgment, discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality when working with others.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
preferred.

Previous experience in a leadership role in a preschool, school, or childcare
setting.

Accredited with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services Childcare
Licensing Division as a qualifying Director.

Comprehensive understanding of Smart Care, Word, and Excel preferred.

Knowledge of child development principles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Organizational and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and licensing requirements for preschools
in Texas.
